Apprentice Chef Position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Panthers Penrith. As a valuable member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and work with experienced mentors to achieve your goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist our chefs with food preparation and service;
- Support with larder and fryer duties and progress to grill responsibilities;
- Contribute to cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen;
- Assist the chefs in catering for various functions and banquets across the club;
- Ensure the safe storage of products and adhere to relevant food health and safety legislation.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop your skills;
- Punctuality and reliability;
- Excellent communication skills;
- A genuine interest in food and the hospitality industry;
- High motivation and a commitment to quality work;
- Ability to work efficiently and proactively in a fast-paced team environment;
- Experience working in a cooking role in a busy kitchen environment is an advantage.
