Apprentice Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Panthers Penrith.

This is an exciting opportunity for a 1st Year Apprentice Chef to develop their skills with a leading brand in the entertainment, leisure, and hospitality industry.

As a valuable member of our team, you will work alongside qualified and experienced mentors to assist in the development of your skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist our chefs with food preparation and service;
  • Support with larder and fryer duties and progress to grill responsibilities;
  • Contribute to cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen;
  • Assist the chefs in catering for various functions and banquets across the club;
  • Ensure the safe storage of products and adhere to relevant food health and safety legislation.
Requirements:
  • Enthusiasm to learn and a strong commitment to your position;
  • Punctuality and reliability;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • A genuine interest in food and the hospitality industry;
  • High motivation and a pride in your work;
  • Ability to work efficiently and proactively in a fast-paced team environment;
  • Experience working in a cooking role in a busy kitchen environment is an advantage.
