About Our Risk Management Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our risk management team.

As a key member, you will play a vital role in protecting our platform's integrity, ensuring compliance with regulations, and safeguarding user assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate suspicious user activities and patterns to identify and prevent fraudulent actions during and post-onboarding.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret large volumes of user and transaction data to detect anomalies or fraudulent trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Compliance, Security, Customer Support, and Engineering teams to manage and escalate fraud cases effectively.
  • Develop and refine detection rules, alerts, and operational procedures to improve risk controls.
  • Assist in designing and improving onboarding processes to balance user experience with risk mitigation.
  • Prepare clear reports on investigation findings and recommend process improvements.
  • Support initiatives to enhance internal policies, fraud prevention strategies, and automated monitoring systems.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in fraud detection, risk analysis, AML/KYC compliance knowledge, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and fraud typologies.
  • Experience in handling complex investigations and familiarity with transaction monitoring systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets (e.g., SQL proficiency preferred).
  • Strong sense of integrity, professional skepticism, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • High level of discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Passion for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and financial technologies.
