Marketing and Communications Role

Camden Women's Shelter is seeking a marketing and communications professional to join our Board.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and driving the marketing and communications strategy, working closely with the Shelter Manager and the Board to generate external awareness and interest in our mission.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging social media and marketing campaigns to achieve our goals
  • Lead our communication strategies, including sharing our Annual Report and organisational strategy with our stakeholders
  • Manage the Camden Women's Shelter website, social media accounts and brand collateral
  • Be the point of contact for media enquiries and press releases
  • Provide updates and advice to the Board on all matters of marketing and communications

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in marketing and/or communications, preferably in the not-for-profit sector or similar industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing and communications principles, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
