Physiotherapist Grade 2 ED/EDSSU

This is a permanent part-time role that provides quality, safe and person-centred physiotherapy clinical care to the allocated caseload as part of our acute team servicing WMH Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit.

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with rotating rosters including weekend and public holidays. They must have broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy skills and experience in an acute hospital setting, especially in ED and EDSSU settings.

We are looking for someone who has recognised degree in physiotherapy, full current and unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration and current Victorian driver's license. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent clinical time management organisational and communication skills with ability to adapt problem solve and prioritise tasks in timely manner within complex work setting.

  • Broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy skills and experience in acute hospital setting.
  • Excellent clinical time management organisational and communication skills.

Additional requirements include willingness to assist with weekend and public holiday rosters and providing evidence of or being in process of obtaining police record check and working with children check.

The successful candidate will have opportunity to contribute to responsive flexible physiotherapy care improving timely effective care patient flow discharge and subsequently improve patient experience.
