We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist Specialist to join our team. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a high level of clinical expertise in Gerontology Physiotherapy.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of physiotherapy services, ensuring excellence in client care and education of staff and students within the physiotherapy stream.
  • Assess and treat patients with complex needs, utilising your knowledge of neurological, musculoskeletal and general physiotherapy principles.
  • Supervise junior staff and physiotherapy students on placement, promoting best practice and providing guidance on patient management.

Requirements:
  • A background with significant experience in Gerontology Physiotherapy, resulting in a high level of clinical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex older population patients in the subacute setting, demonstrating expertise in patient assessment and treatment planning.
  • Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult and collaborate with other health professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting clinical care, with a strong focus on quality and patient outcomes.
  • Well-developed skills in negotiation and conflict resolution, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
