We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our Accessibility and Inclusion initiatives for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games legacy.

Job Description
  • This role is pivotal in fostering relationships with people with disability, disability leaders, and organisations to drive action on accessibility and inclusion.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and operating an advisory function to guide action on accessibility and inclusion outcomes.

This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in disability advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and develop effective relationships with people with disability, disability sector representatives, Commonwealth and State government agencies, community groups, councils, and other interested bodies.
  • Work within the Legacy and Impact team to ensure legacy initiatives are designed and delivered with accessibility considerations and outcomes for people with disability.
  • Support the successful implementation of legacy activities that deliver long-term benefits for the people of Queensland.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership regarding accessibility and inclusion legacy-related matters.
