Restaurant Supervisor Job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, working together with their colleagues, and making a positive impact on the community through our humanitarian initiatives.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role, and possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop their team members.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant's operation run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

You will work closely with the restaurant manager to plan, coordinate, and implement operational procedures, and ensure that the team is properly trained and equipped to deliver outstanding results.

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will also play a key role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations
  • Assist in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
  • Assist with hiring new team members and on-boarding them
  • Manage staff performance reviews and rosters
  • Evaluate and improve food preparation, presentation, and serving standards
  • Assist with ordering stock from suppliers and managing inventory levels
  • Perform administrative duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and policy reviews
  • Ensure safety and security standards are recognized and upheld, and employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience: 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Qualifications: Work authorization: Australia (preferred)
  • Work Environment: In-person work location
