We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Op Shop Store Manager Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating a positive supportive store atmosphere and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the organisation through your passion for all things preloved and second-hand, creating a welcoming and inclusive store environment.
  • Work closely with the Op Shop Store Manager to support the goals and objectives of the organisation.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and appreciated.
  • Train and develop volunteers to achieve their full potential and contribute to the success of the store.
  • Drive sales growth and revenue targets by implementing effective merchandising and visual display techniques.
  • Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store, ensuring that they meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Direct and monitor the daily register opening and closing procedures, maintaining accurate records and reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Confident retail experience and demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fashion and clothing brands, with the ability to create engaging and visually appealing displays.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Sound computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to supervise and provide direction to a small team, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
