Coordinating Park Services

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in project and/or contract management or extensive experience in contract management and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate parks operations services delivered by contract service providers, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery.
  • Contribute technical advice on planning, implementation, and delivery of parks and open spaces, ensuring well-presented, sustainable, safe, and high-quality amenities for the community.
  • Develop specifications, technical investigations, contracts, procedures, and service delivery arrangements for park assets and operations, ensuring service levels are met.
  • Engage and manage contractors, service providers, and consultants in accordance with relevant contracts and city policies.
  • Efficiently collect and analyze data using tools and systems, monitoring issues and trends in asset and service performance.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in project and/or contract management or extensive experience in contract management and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated project/contract management experience in the government sector or similar, with well-developed project management knowledge in budgets, tools, and methodologies.
