Role Overview

With over 50 years of expertise across Australia, Extrastaff is a leading national provider specializing in the placement of temporary and permanent staff in various Healthcare facilities, including Aged Care homes and Hospitals.

We are actively seeking multiple Cleaners and Laundry Attendants to support our clients with ON-CALL shifts. Your role will be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for both Residents and Patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Adhering to safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
  2. Preparing cleaning equipment and supplies.
  3. Cleaning patient/resident rooms and bathrooms.
  4. Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas.
  5. Documenting cleaning activities.
  6. Performing high-touch point cleaning and sanitization.

As a Laundry Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Following safety, quality, and hygiene protocols.
  2. Managing and organizing linen in resident rooms and laundry facilities.
  3. Handling linen according to infection control standards.
  4. Ensuring all resident items are properly labeled and recorded.
  5. Monitoring and maintaining laundry equipment.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Strong communication skills.
  2. Minimum 6 months of experience in Health Care environments.
  3. Current National Police Certificate for Healthcare work.
  4. Current Working with Children Check.
  5. Completed COVID vaccinations (3 doses).
  6. FLU vaccination for the current year.
  7. Flexibility to work ON-CALL morning and afternoon shifts.
