The HSEQ Advisor plays a pivotal role in implementing health, safety, environment, and quality management systems at site level.
This includes providing specialist advice to facilitate compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management System, conducting risk assessments and developing procedures, leading incident investigations and implementing processes to ensure incidents are reported and investigated, supporting Return to Work Processes, conducting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual audits, ensuring compliance with all legal, company, and client requirements, and driving regular and sustainable improvement in safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Implementing health, safety, environment, and quality management systems
- Providing specialist advice to facilitate compliance
- Conducting risk assessments and developing procedures
- Leading incident investigations and implementing processes
- Supporting Return to Work Processes
- Conducting audits and ensuring compliance
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Degree or Diploma in a relevant field, or a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- Qualifications in ICAM investigations and root cause analysis competencies (preferred)
- Minimum of two years' experience in Health and Safety, Environmental, Health, or similar fields
- A valid driver's license
- Food safety handling or supervisory experience is desirable
- Previous site-based HSEQ experience is highly regarded
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships and influencing key stakeholders
- Well-developed communication skills, including coaching and influencing
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessments
