We are seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our team, who thrives on a busy day and has a passion for providing the best patient care.
The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for the treatment of emergency cases and hospitalised patients, working closely with our specialist team and nurses.
This is a permanent part-time position, with flexible hours to suit your needs. We offer a generous hourly rate and up to 5 weeks annual leave, as well as opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
You will work across 24 hours, including days, evenings, and nights, providing high-quality care to a diverse range of animal species. You will be supported by our experienced team, with access to regular training and development opportunities.

About the Role
This is a full-time position, working 120 hours per 4-week rotation.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, treating a variety of emergency cases and collaborating with our specialist team.
You will have access to advanced equipment and technology, including imaging modalities, critical care facilities, and laboratory services.
Our multidisciplinary hospital is staffed by an experienced team of veterinarians, nurses, and support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.
We offer regular training and development opportunities, including national mentoring programs and study groups.
About You
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent with Victorian veterinary registration is essential.
Experience in an emergency veterinary setting is desirable, but not required.
An interest in routine and emergency surgery would be beneficial.
A commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary care is essential.
