About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide community access, domestic assistance, and social support to our client in Northern Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting the client's children from school, assisting with domestic cleaning and meal preparation, and providing transport services to the client and her family for outings such as shopping and medical appointments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong preference for female care staff and will possess a Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support, or equivalent.

Key requirements include:

  • Australian drivers licence and a reliable vehicle for taking the client out in the community and picking up children from school
  • Minimum 6 months experience in Australia or a reciprocal country
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening
  • Working with children's check (blue card) as the client has children
