About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist residents with mealtime and support their nutritional needs
  • Engage with residents through conversation, activities, and social events
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure resident-centered care
Requirements
  • Currently studying Cert III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) and due to be qualified within 6 months of commencing employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for working with older adults and supporting their independence
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
