Job Title

Oracle Database Administrator

  • Administer and maintain Oracle databases hosted on AWS.
  • Perform regular database operations, including shutdowns, restarts, patching, log cleanup, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Implement SSL/TLS encryption for secure application-to-database communication.
  • Configure and manage RMAN for backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Support data migration activities in non-production and production environments, including one-time data loads and Oracle GoldenGate-based replication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration (12c, 19c or higher).
  • Experience managing Oracle databases on AWS, including both RDS and EC2.
  • Proficiency with Oracle GoldenGate for data replication.
  • Operational experience with RMAN for backup, recovery, and configuration.
  • Proven skills in Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
