About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Wellways Australia Limited. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges in our residential programs.

As a Recovery Worker, you will work closely with individuals and their clinical care teams to provide person-centered support and facilitate their recovery journey. Your expertise and passion for mental health support will enable you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to participants in our residential programs
  • Collaborate with clinical care teams to develop and implement recovery plans
  • Facilitate group activities and programs to promote socialization, skill-building, and personal growth
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or experience working in a support role for individuals with mental health challenges
  • Demonstrated experience and/or transferable skills in working with individuals with mental health challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current valid driver's license and ability to undertake some travel
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children's Check
