About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join our team at Wellways Australia Limited. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a crucial part of the recovery journey in our residential programs, working closely with individuals and their clinical care teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a variety of engaging groups and activities, offering vital operational support and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance our programs.
  • Work closely with individuals and their clinical care teams to provide support and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of recovery plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our participants.
  • Provide education and support to participants and their families, promoting recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience working in a support role for people with mental health challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience and/or transferable skills & knowledge in working with people with serious mental health challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Right to work within Australia.
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
