We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Wellways Australia Limited. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges in our residential programs.
As a Recovery Worker, you will work closely with individuals and their clinical care teams to provide a range of support services, including leading groups and activities, offering operational support, and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance our programs.

About the ProgramsWellways delivers the Specialist Residential Rehabilitation Program (SRRP) and Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) programs in partnership with GV Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service.
These residential programs provide practical environments that facilitate the maintenance of, and/or the development of skills in the domains of daily living, learning, working, social, and health. Both programs provide clinical and psychosocial support to participants and are underpinned by evidence-based best practice.

- Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience working in a support role for people with mental health challenges.
- Demonstrated experience and/or transferable skills & knowledge in working with people with serious mental health challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work within Australia.
- Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children's Check.
Wellways are a team of approximately 2000 staff and 150 volunteers across 93 sites providing a range of programs, services, and supports to people right across Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, and Tasmania.
