About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation & Mainframe Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Cognizant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing automation frameworks and a proven track record in test automation, API testing, and working with various tools and technologies.

This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to drive implementation programs to enhance automation processes. As a key member of our Quality Engineering and Assurance team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of our automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Create and execute test scripts using Selenium and Java.
  • Perform API testing using BDD, Rest Assured, SOAPUI, and Postman.
  • Work with Mainframe Houn to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Utilize MongoDB for database testing and validation.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Apply knowledge of Policy & Claims Insurance to ensure industry-specific testing requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate testing progress, issues, and solutions effectively.
  • Drive the implementation of automation programs to enhance overall testing efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Selenium and Java for test script development.
  • Experience in API testing with BDD, Rest Assured, SOAPUI, and Postman.
  • Familiarity and experience with Mainframe Houn and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Experience in the Policy and Claims Insurance industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive implementation programs for automation enhancement.
