We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation & Mainframe Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at Cognizant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing automation frameworks and a proven track record in test automation, API testing, and working with various tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks: Ensure efficient and effective testing processes by developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Create and Execute Test Scripts: Utilize Selenium and Java to create and execute test scripts.
  • Perform API Testing: Conduct API testing using BDD, Rest Assured, SOAPUI, and Postman.
  • Work with Mainframe Houn: Ensure comprehensive testing coverage by working with Mainframe Houn.
  • Utilize MongoDB: Use MongoDB for database testing and validation.
  • Implement and Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Utilize Jenkins to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Apply Industry-Specific Knowledge: Apply knowledge of Policy & Claims Insurance to ensure industry-specific testing requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Communicate testing progress, issues, and solutions effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive Automation Programs: Drive the implementation of automation programs to enhance overall testing efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience in Automation Framework Development: Develop automation frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Proficiency in Selenium and Java: Utilize Selenium and Java for test script development.
  • API Testing Experience: Conduct API testing with BDD, Rest Assured, SOAPUI, and Postman.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe Houn and MongoDB: Work with Mainframe Houn and utilize MongoDB for database testing and validation.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins: Utilize Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Industry Experience: Have experience in the Policy and Claims Insurance industry.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across the organization.
  • Proven Ability to Drive Implementation Programs: Proven ability to drive implementation programs for automation enhancement.
