Key Accountant Role

Our business advisory practice is seeking a highly skilled Key Accountant to play a pivotal role in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for clients.

About the Position
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth;
  • Develop and implement effective accounting systems and processes to ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards;
  • Provide exceptional client service and support through proactive communication and timely issue resolution;
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working in Public Practice and in Business Services;
  • Undergraduate qualifications (essential) and Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards this);
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax rules, with experience in corporate, partnership, trusts and high-net-worth individual taxation matters;
  • Experience with MYOB AE, MYOB Account Right, Xero and System Release programs;
  • Professional presentation and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client service;
