Parts Specialist Position

As a Key Parts Professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to retail and installer customers at an auto parts store.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Follow company policies to provide high-level service
  • Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist with merchandise selection
  • Assist other team members in serving professional customers
  • Complete assigned training relevant to position
  • Provide excellent phone service by answering calls and accurately looking up parts

You will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and securing cash drawers
  • Processing exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints
  • Assisting with daily operational tasks

Additionally, you may be required to:

  • Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed
  • Perform various in-store services for customers
  • Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate
Requirements:
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
  • Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
  • Multitasking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and weatherly index system
  • ASE certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages
