Clinical Operations Manager

As a leader in our after-hours management team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the clinical portfolio and operational excellence at Northern Beaches Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and operational oversight to after-hours staff and visiting medical officers (VMOs) to ensure clinical practice aligns with professional service values.
- Coordinate patient admissions, staff, and material resources to meet key performance indicators.
- Act as emergency controller; authorize staff and maintenance contractor call-ins; provide critical support during high-pressure situations.
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent degree.
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role in a large acute hospital environment.
- Effective people leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members.
- Advanced clinical competence and proven experience in clinical supervision.
- Proven track record with the coordination and allocation of staff.
- Demonstrated high-level organizational skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability.
- High degree of computer literacy.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Passion for delivering quality patient-centered care.
