Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial accounting information to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality financial reporting that meets the needs of our business.
  2. Manage and evaluate capital expenditures to optimize returns.
  3. Budgeting and forecasting for operational and capital expenditures.
  4. Evaluate contracts and prepare production reports.
  5. Process and report month-end results for operational and capital expenditures.
  6. Assist in preparing monthly and yearly budgets and forecasts.
  7. Mentor colleagues on cost control, accruals, and commercial responsibilities.
  8. Contribute to improving commercial systems and develop staff training programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting, or equivalent.
  • Hold CPA or CA qualifications (or in progress).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and problem-solve.
  • Strong understanding of information systems and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
