Human Resources Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional HR professional to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a family-owned business that genuinely cares about its employees and provides a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and onboarding of new staff members including training and induction.
  • Employee relations, retention and management including performance assessments and goal setting.
  • Liaison with referral sources, staff members, and clients as needed to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • General duties such as administrative tasks, audits, and maintaining inboxes to ensure efficient office operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Australian National Police Check to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate to demonstrate commitment to employee safety and well-being.
  • Valid driver's licence to facilitate travel between sites and locations.
  • NDIS check or willingness to obtain to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine and caring approach to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in HR or similar field; working towards or completion of an HR qualification is advantageous.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of human resources principles and practices to deliver exceptional results.
