About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Transition Partner to join our team at the University of South Australia. As a key member of our Integration Management Office, you will play a critical role in supporting the transition to the new Adelaide University.

As a Workforce Transition Partner, you will be responsible for implementing the Workforce Transition Strategy and providing expert guidance and support to align the workforce with the new organisation's strategic direction. You will work closely with key stakeholders to support the transition of staff to the new Adelaide University, leveraging your exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement workforce models to support the new organisational structure.
  • Prepare organisational charts reflecting the new structure, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Position description development and evaluation.
  • Manage remuneration adjustments and employment contracts.
  • Manage the assignment processes for transitioning positions. Assess and assign staff for placement into Adelaide University positions.
  • Develop and implement placement criteria and assessment methodologies.
  • Provide tailored support to address specific team needs and challenges during the transition.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Workforce Planning, or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in supporting workforce transitions and organisational change.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and use data effectively.
  • High-level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including negotiation skills, and the ability to relate to a broad cross-section of people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
  • Highly developed organisational and project management skills and experience in managing multiple priorities, projects, and resources within tight timelines.
