Senior Coordinator for Volunteer Engagement and Sustainability

The Senior Coordinator for Volunteer Engagement and Sustainability plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to ensure a sustainable volunteer workforce for emergency services in Western Australia.

This position involves:

  • Project management and coordination
  • Policy development and procedure refinement
  • Volunteer recruitment, retention, and engagement
  • Sustainability initiatives and planning

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess strong leadership skills, experience in project management, and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies. They should also exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or public policy, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity. They must be an Australian citizen or hold permanent residency, or a valid working visa covering the contract period.

The Senior Coordinator for Volunteer Engagement and Sustainability will collaborate closely with the Manager Strategic Volunteer and Youth Programs to achieve the department's goals. This is a fixed-term full-time position commencing on November 1, 2025, for 12 months, with potential extensions or permanence.
