Job Title: Recycling Centre Attendant

About the Role:

TOMRA is committed to building a sustainable future through innovative technology. Our reverse vending machines enable the collection of empty drink containers, promoting recycling and reducing waste.

As a key member of our team, you will work in a dynamic environment where collaboration and excellent customer service are paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a positive experience at our recycling centres by providing exceptional service, maintaining a clean and efficient environment, and ensuring our machines and sorting equipment are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment for team members and customers
  • Carry out regular cleaning and maintenance of our reverse vending machines and sorting equipment
  • Monitor the recycling centre for any hazards and report concerns as they arise

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A passion for recycling and the environment
  • A keen eye for detail and motivation to maintain a clean work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service
  • Physical fitness, with some manual lifting required
