Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in Parramatta. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our elderly clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, as well as providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
  • Help with domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our clients' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Provide complex care for clients with high care needs, such as dementia, and work collaboratively with our care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our clients and their families, and provide social support and transport to appointments.

Requirements:
  • 6+ months of experience in a support worker role, including personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to clients' homes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our elderly clients, and a passion for making a positive difference in their lives.
