About the Role
C015 APT MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTY LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Power Chemical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane or Mount Isa. As a key member of our Engineering and Planning team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical Power specific Chemical Engineering services to our Power Systems Engineering Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage risk within combined cycle, water and cooling water chemistry on predominately CCGT plant.
- Ensure correct chemistry strategies and adjustments to uphold the design operating envelope.
- Ensure correct maintenance activities that support safe and reliable chemistry management.
- Monitor asset lifecycle by implementing continuous chemistry surveillance techniques to ensure safe operation of the asset and safeguard the asset design life.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering or Science.
- 5+ years' experience in the operation and maintenance of combined cycle power station or equivalent chemical process.
- Leverage technology to develop and automate the detection of chemistry excursions proactively.
- Experience in risk-assessed and data-driven decision-making.
