About the Role

A Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our residential aged care service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dedicated team, promoting a positive and respectful environment for residents and staff alike.
  • Collaborate with the Care Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, respectful, and person-centred care delivery.
  • Support staff development, rostering, and supervision of direct care services.
  • Evaluate and improve processes to maintain compliance with relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and health professionals.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and aged care compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting teams, mentoring staff, and managing rosters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
