Lead Overnight Respite Care Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a dedicated team of professionals in delivering exceptional care services to individuals in need.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a passionate and committed team, working collaboratively with the Head of Clubs and Cottages to recruit, mentor and lead staff. They will also be accountable for ensuring quality service provision, managing budgets and overseeing technical aspects of care delivery at the Respite Cottage.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of skilled professionals to deliver individualised care services to clients.
  • Work closely with the Head of Clubs and Cottages to develop and implement strategies for recruitment, mentoring and leading staff.
  • Ensure high-quality service provision through effective management of budgets and resources.
  • Oversee all technical aspects of care delivery at the Respite Cottage.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care and minimum 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel between sites and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to build supportive relationships with clients within a relationship-based model of care.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth Home Support Program Manual, Home Care Packages Program Guidelines and HammondAtHome Care Worker Enterprise Agreement.
  • Experience managing a team in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Empathy, compassion and genuine interest in helping those in need.
