Employment Account Officer Role

Castle Personnel Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employment Account Officer to join our team. As an Employment Account Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, chronic illnesses, and injuries to find employment and live meaningful lives in the Newcastle, Hunter, and Central Coast regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with local businesses to build effective relationships and promote our services.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities that align with participant needs to expand Castle's presence with local, regional, and inter-regional employers.
  • Liaise with employers to support participants in achieving their goals and outcomes.
  • Assess and address participant barriers to securing employment and contribute to interventions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote and market our services to identified referral partners, existing participants, employers, and potential participants.
  • Work with an agreed caseload to provide services and support to each participant.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Certificate III or equivalent knowledge and 3-5 years of experience in employment services and account management.
  • Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Office, databases, and business systems, with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments and maintain personal integrity, professionalism, and empathy towards people living with disabilities.
  • Demonstrated relationship management and engagement skills with stakeholders.
  • NDIS Workers Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Driver's license or reliable transportation.
