Seeking a talented and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our product development cycle, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful launch of our trend collections.

The Role

As a Buying Assistant, you will be responsible for creating CADs, managing administration tasks, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Your keen fashion sense and strong administrative capabilities will enable you to hit the ground running across various facets and functions of the role and team.

  • Create CADs for trend collections
  • Administration associated with order raising, order management, and range sheets
  • Management and preparation of weekly sales reports, products, merchandise rack, product analysis, etc.
  • Effective management of all samples
  • Liaising with Planning team on any order changes and delivery updates
  • Communicate creative input and innovation for product development
  • Attend fit sessions to review garments on body and prepare fit samples
  • Daily communication with vendor base
  • Maintain effective communication with all other departments
Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant education; Design/Buying/Merchandise Diploma or Business/Commercial degree
  • Previous experience as a Buying Assistant in a fashion retail environment preferred
  • A LOVE for product, and a passion to grow in this field
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in creating CADs and using Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
  • Sound knowledge and proficiency in MS Suite
  • Experience in managing administration tasks
  • A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable nature
