Energy Market Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Market Insights Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Energy Market Insights Specialist, you will play a key role in analyzing and providing actionable insights on global energy market trends and developments.

  • About the Role:
  • Evaluate and interpret market data to identify dynamics, outlooks, and investment opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain advanced market optimization models to assess energy market potential.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise on project/program/investment development and execution.
  • Analyze global energy markets rules and trends to accurately understand energy storage operations and energy market potentials.
  • Design and set up database tables, collect, and manage market and operations data; build analysis tools for assessing market opportunities and energy trading performance.
  • Mentor other members of the team as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and evaluate market and technical data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Research global energy markets rules and trends to accurately understand energy storage operations and energy market potentials.
  • Develop strategies, reports, graphical outputs of revenue and system dispatch to support energy market investigation and business case development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, finance, engineering).
  • Proven experience in energy market analysis and modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and data analysis tools.
