
Policy Compliance Specialist

This is a senior-level role that requires the development, implementation, and review of policy frameworks and compliance strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in policy development and compliance within government or regulatory settings.
- The successful candidate will lead a team in creating, implementing, and reviewing policies to ensure they are practical, effective, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- They will provide expert advice on legislative obligations, risk management, and regulatory best practices.
- Additionally, they will monitor compliance activities and support internal audit and assurance processes.
- Collaboration with stakeholders will be essential to ensure policies are effective and meet agency goals.
- The specialist will prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and submissions for senior executives and government bodies.
You're a confident communicator and critical thinker with a strong understanding of public sector governance. You bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and have a proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable policy.
Essential Requirements- Demonstrated experience in policy development and compliance within government or regulatory settings.
- Strong knowledge of NSW Government legislative and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, public policy, governance, or a related field and/or relevant experience.
