We are seeking a skilled Engagement Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop and implement strategies that foster a culturally inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with Indigenous contractors and businesses, developing and delivering Indigenous Awareness programs, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to align strategies with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Indigenous engagement strategies to improve relationships with Indigenous communities.
- Deliver training and awareness programs to educate staff and contractors about Indigenous cultures and histories.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and policies affecting Indigenous engagement and employment.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the Indigenous Engagement strategy.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in community development or related field are highly desirable.
- Experience in identifying and engaging with Indigenous businesses and contractors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
