Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Hotel Operations Manager to drive business growth and commercial success.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual to lead our hotel operations, focusing on optimising business turnover, delivering operating profit, and driving business development and growth. You will be part of a passionate and supportive team structure and operations group, where you can bring creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and a hands-on approach to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance business performance and achieve operational excellence
  • Lead and manage a high-performance team aligned to our core values of relationship-focused, integrity, personal growth and ownership mindset
  • Manage daily hotel operations in line with our Veri-Best Framework
  • Promote guest satisfaction and loyalty through effective management practices
  • Ensure business compliance and critical incident management
  • Oversee facility and asset management
  • Provide management administration and reporting
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Approved Australian working rights
  • First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to obtain a Liquor Licence (at our expense)
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness to achieve outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and complaints
  • High standards of attention to detail and communication skills
  • Experience managing people in a customer service environment
  • A passion for personal growth and development
