Graduate Engineer Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of key work packages across the NBN NSW N2P project.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and site supervisors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.
- Participate in site inspections and toolbox meetings.
- Support construction planning and scheduling.
- Manage the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring systems are updated and reconciled with construction progress.
- Coordinate traffic management and council approvals.
- Track project variations and completion artefacts.
- Engage in lessons learnt and innovation workshops.
Requirements
- A Civil Engineering Degree or related discipline.
- 0–1 year of industry experience.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
