Graduate Engineer Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of key work packages across the NBN NSW N2P project.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and site supervisors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.
  • Participate in site inspections and toolbox meetings.
  • Support construction planning and scheduling.
  • Manage the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring systems are updated and reconciled with construction progress.
  • Coordinate traffic management and council approvals.
  • Track project variations and completion artefacts.
  • Engage in lessons learnt and innovation workshops.

Requirements

  • A Civil Engineering Degree or related discipline.
  • 0–1 year of industry experience.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
