Job Title: Family and Community Support Coordinator

The role of the Family and Community Support Coordinator is to lead the development and implementation of a new initiative that supports women and children in the Pilbara region. The coordinator will work closely with the Hedland Aboriginal Strong Leaders Collective and Julyardi Aboriginal Corporation to create a service that addresses the needs of vulnerable families and individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the new initiative, including strategic partnerships and resource allocation.">
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, and service providers, to achieve program goals.">
  • Provide case management services to families and individuals, including assessment, planning, and support.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A degree in human services, social work, or a related field.">
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly Indigenous Australians.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.">
  • Knowledge of family and domestic violence frameworks and practices.">
