Job Title: Family Support Worker

This role involves providing regular in-home support to carer families, assisting them with daily tasks and emotional well-being.

  • An ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, including awareness of issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and families.
  • The successful candidate should also have an appropriate qualification and/or experience in human services or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team is essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of vulnerable children, young people, and families, including understanding trauma, attachment, and child development, is crucial.

This is a full-time position within our Intensive Family Support / Family Care Support Services Program. The successful candidate will report to the Coordinator Pilbara Services.
