Agronomist Role Summary

Elders Rockhampton is seeking an Agronomist to provide trusted advice to clients and staff. The successful candidate will be embedded in the branch, offering expertise on crop health, nutrition, and protection.

  • Advise on crop management and provide recommendations for sustainable practices.\\\
  • Develop tailored solutions to address growers' specific challenges and opportunities.\\\
  • Build professional relationships with existing and new clients through regular farm visits.\\\
  • Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and identify areas for innovation.

Requirements

\\\
  • Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science (or a related field) and AgSafe accreditation.\\\
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused Sales position (ideally within ag products).\\\
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbally.\\\
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously while delivering results.\\\
  • Sound use of digital Farm Management Systems for farm planning and recording recommendations.
