About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Social Worker to lead our Day Rehabilitation Service in Adelaide, South Australia.

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient-centred services across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), managing complex caseloads and advocating for patients on a wide range of issues. Your expertise will drive improved clinical outcomes, shaping the future of social work services through evidence-based practices and innovative approaches to care.

You will mentor and support less experienced social workers, supervise professional students, and contribute to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaboration with the CALHN Social Work network will play a key role in fostering inclusion, critical thinking, and engagement within multidisciplinary teams.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications: A social work degree or equivalent qualification eligible for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, leadership, advanced communication skills, and ability to foster inclusion, critical thinking, and engagement.
  • Experience: Extensive background in social work clinical specialties, managing complex cases, supervising staff or students, and driving service improvements through evidence-based initiatives.
