Role Overview

As an Expert Clinical Leader at Future Leadership, you will drive evidence-based practice and provide expert clinical advice for individual clients and at a system-level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide significant expert practice advice, leadership, and oversight to Child Protection staff.
  • Lead a team of specialists across multiple disciplines to continuously improve evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver contemporary and ethical practice.
  • Develop and lead practice and strengthen workforce capability and wellbeing.
  • Partner with community services to improve practice and reduce over representation of First Nations children in the child protection system.
Requirements
  • Specialist practice knowledge of an area relevant to Child Protection, disability service, health, and/or clients with complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of Human Services practice and relevant legislation and policy.
  • Previous experience leading change initiatives, building collaborative partnerships, and risk management.
  • Professional qualification in social work, psychology, psychiatry or clinical field.
