Ensuring the efficient operation of renewable energy systems is crucial for a sustainable future. As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will oversee projects in Victoria, guaranteeing safe and controlled management of high-voltage equipment. This role involves supervising subcontractors, coordinating HV works, and maintaining a secure working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • High Voltage Operations and Energy Control Coordinator during HV commissioning of wind farm substation
  • Managing all High Voltage (HV) works for Wind Farm as HV Responsible Officer HVRO
  • Producing switching programs, executing HV switching, and issuing safety documentation duties on HV networks
  • Facilitating a safe working environment during high-voltage working
  • Participating in Safety in Design Reviews and witnessing inspection and tests of electrical components and infrastructure

A successful candidate will possess qualifications including High Voltage Operating Authority, UEPOPS349B Operate Local H.V. switchgear, UEPOPS428B Develop H.V. switching program, and UETTDREL16A Working safely near live electrical apparatus.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build relationships and advanced use of MS Office.

Required experience includes 7+ years onsite experience, management of subcontractors, and experience with substation construction and MV/HV cable reticulation and transmission construction.

This role requires negotiation with stakeholders, both internal and external, and constructability review of electrical design in a construction environment.
