About the Role
Nine Radio is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our eight-week paid Radio Internship Program. This is an ideal opportunity for the next generation of Australia's diverse radio talent to build their skills and gain real-world experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of content for our broadcasts
- Engage with listeners through various radio departments
- Gain experience working in the newsroom, alongside journalists, to understand how they generate, write, and present live and recorded bulletins
- Support our podcasting teams and develop a comprehensive understanding of what it's like to work within our Radio station
About You
- A genuine knowledge and passion for news and current affairs
- An interest in pursuing a career within the Radio/Audio space
- Available for full-time work, for eight weeks, with the potential for permanent or casual opportunities post-internship
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
- A team player with a professional approach and a willingness to learn and get the most out of the program
