The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Hand to join our dynamic Service Department team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our talented technicians to ensure the efficient and effective repair of earthmoving machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead a team of technicians to achieve high-quality repair outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective work practices to improve safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor and internal staff to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
  • Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards in the workshop, adhering to the 5S standard

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant trade qualification with extensive industry experience
  • Strong understanding of earthmoving machinery, preferably Komatsu
  • Excellent leadership and management skills to motivate and inspire the team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office and inventory management software
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols
