We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Caseworker for Permanency. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of children and young people.

About the Role

As a Caseworker for Permanency, your primary goal will be to help children and young people achieve stability and security. You will work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to develop personalized plans that cater to each child's unique needs.

  • You will conduct regular visits to the homes of children, young people, and their carers to assess their well-being and provide support where needed.

What You Need To Succeed
  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is highly desirable, although equivalent experience may also be considered.
  • You must have a solid understanding of the issues facing vulnerable children and their families, as well as sound interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team is essential, as is your willingness to establish and maintain effective community networks.
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills are critical, as you will need to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including children, young people, carers, and professionals.
  • A current driver's license is required, and you must be willing to undergo a National Police Clearance and obtain a Working with Children Check clearance number.
