Our organization seeks a skilled and compassionate Transport Officer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the safe and courteous transportation of patients with various medical conditions.
Job Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment and Intervention: Perform thorough patient assessments and intervene as necessary to ensure optimal care during transportation.
- Patient Care and Treatment: Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Relationship Development: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Independence and Problem-Solving: Work independently and exercise sound judgment to resolve problems and make informed decisions within established policies and procedures.
- Qualifications: A minimum qualification of Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent is required.
- Availability: Availability to work 10- and 12-hour shifts across 7 days is essential.
- Driving Skills: Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions is crucial.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, professional, and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing excellent service are highly sought after.
- Staff-to-Patient Ratio: Enjoy a 2:1 staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring personalized attention and care for each patient.
